Virginia Branches increase committee involvement in Industry Organizations

Skillforce increased its involvement in Virginia Construction organizations by joining various committees of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association, The American General Contractors Association, and the Associated Builders and Contractors. "Few suppliers go beyond their association with the day to day servicing of their clients to become an integral part of the Construction Community", said Travis Powell, General Manager of the Richmond Branch, "We recognize the importance of getting involved in those causes that are important to our customers, and support them vigorously on their behalf". All three Virginia branches are involved in their respective chapter associations and push those causes that are important to future opportunities. Together, the Skillforce management staff hold 14 committee chair positions, including the company president's position as a member of the Board of Directors for ABC Balitmore and involvement with ABC PAC and ABC Cares.
